For our "Summer" family vacation we headed north about 4 hours and checked out the beautiful Mendocino. Known more for it's quaint B&B's and not for their family friendly activities, we still had a blast. The girls are at an age where they have fun where we have fun.
The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens had a fun collection of flora, sculptures, and beautiful views.
Eli was a trooper and was nice and warm under his blankets. He just enjoys being outside.
I still can't believe I convinced Cali to touch this spider sculpture. Laney wouldn't go near it.
Laney did get a kick out of this cool Dragon sculpture.
The little kid in me got super excited when we went in search of some tide pools.
Beautiful drive through some forrests.....
To visit my long lost cousins in Lake County! They build and race cars for a hobby, and Cali was more than happy to give the drivers seat a try. Laney was more than happy to hang back and watch.
