Well, it's here, the end of summer. And my blog is shamelessly baren of pictures from this summer. So here is a super quick recap. I wish I could organize the pictures and put cute captions on all of them, but at this point I'd rather have the extra 2 hours of sleep.

This picture pretty much sums up my day. Laney is constantly wanting to help, Eli is fussy, and Cali is a ball of creative energy.

Going to the store is interesting. If it's Eli and just 1 of the girls, it's totally easy. But when you get the 2 girls together they turn the grocery store into a playground. At least they're being creative right?
Cali just can't wait to look at all the books we get from the library every week!
Of course we had to do swimming lessons. Laney is still paranoid about getting her face wet, so we've stopped lessons for now, and Cali is actually progressing pretty well without Laney feeding her with worries. And Cali just loves that there is something she does that Laney doesn't.
We ended labor day with a bang with a trip to Capitola beach on Labor Day. Poor Eli still gets super miserable with the wind making his eyes all watery. Thankfully we came prepared this time with a beach tent and we were nice and cozy inside. The girls had a blast!
