It seems like the past few months have been filled with forks in our life journey. We finally decided on a big one. Today was Brad's last day on his path as a Transfer Pricing consultant at:
He has loved his time at EY and is so thankful for the opportunity and everything he has learned there. However, when Brad discovered a great opportunity to work as a Transfer Pricing specialist at:
He just couldn't resist the experience, better hours, and better pay. It's like a win-win situation. The hardest part was having to tell all his wonderful coworkers and boss that he works with and looks up to. He's been able to bring in 1, perhaps even 2 great economists from little ol' SUU into a work atmosphere filled with Ph.D's and Stanford graduates. He's really excited to be doing something new, challenging, and working with a great company who's performing so well with an exciting future.
Intel is located in Santa Clara, California, which lucky for us is only 20 minutes away. So blessed to not have to be moving away from people and neighborhood that we love so much. Now if only we could find a way to save $160,000 for a 20% down payment on a basic 3bed/2bath home here.....
