 First sight of Christmas

We just had a few little presents to match our little tree.... 

 but that didn't matter to these guys, look at that smile!  "It's Christmas" she kept saying over and over in her cutest high squeaky voice.

Favorite Gift

It took me an entire year to find the perfect laptop for Laney.  Of course now she already knows all her letters and sounds, but that doesn't stop her from dancing to the music!

Next favorite gift.

Hello Kitty key chain/mirror's with combs inside.  Both girls have spent the past 2 days twirling around, combing their hair, and singing "a dream is a wish you're heart makes" (from Cinderella). 

 

Thankfully we got 2 of these.  Thank you Milan Ward Primary!

 

 Laney showing off our traditional Italian cake, also known as Panetonne. These are everywhere during the Christmas season. Supposedly the origin of the word is Pane di Tony (Tony's bread...Tony is the guy who "invented" this cake)

Who can resist this face!!!  I sure can't!

On Christmas Eve we got to Skype group video chat with Brad's entire family, including his brother who is on a mission in Paraguay!!  So amazing to connect and see everyone at the same time from around the world.

We miss everyone so much!!  Christmas just wasn't the same without you.  This will probably be our last post before we move out of our home/hotel.  Then we will be traveling the tour de Italy, and head home on the 10th of January!!  I'm not sure which I'm more excited for, the Colosseum, play dates and my car, or a trip to Utah!
