To escape the heat last weekend, we headed over the mountains to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Although she wouldn't get on any rides, she had just as much fun watching them as any kid riding them. Then after a fabulous lunch of clam chowder bowls and fish and chips, we hit the beach, got all sandy, and headed home in time for me to catch the lousy BYU game and for Brad to make it to the Stanford game.
Brad refered to our daughter as "the sand monster" Fresh sunscreen and sand are not a good combo.
Pretty good considering the heavy load he was carrying!
