Happy Valentines!!

So Valentine's week has just been amazing!! Not to rub it in or anything, but spring comes a tinsiest bit early here, as in this week. What better way to celebrate Valentines than to go on a romantic picnic for three!! The robins are back, the trees are covered in white blossoms, and of course it's a toasty 65-70 degrees during the day. It's the trade off for the insane amt of money we put into rent and being so far away from fam. Remember, if anyone needs to thaw out, they're more than welcome to come visit! Laney is absolutely thrilled about the beautiul weather as well. She wasn't so sure about crawling around in the grass, but I think she's decided that she likes it. She thoroughly enjoys the swings and slides at the park. (Of course we forgot the camera, but then again we wouldn't want to make those of you buried in the snow to get too jealous) And she's suddenly decided that it's okay to play without mommy being no more than 5 feet away. It's been great, and the reason I'm updating the blog in the morning instead of 11 at night. Of course that means that she now wanders into other rooms and I have to keep up with her. She's still not interested in walking yet, but she loves to climb on EVERYTHING. We don't have any stairs, so she uses anything that you can think of. Her books, the arm of the couch, her walker, and the door of the dishwasher.

For Valentine's we got together with 2 other couples in our ward with little kids. It was a blast eating chinese and telling our first date and engagement stories.

Here is a little video which we find absolutely hilarious, but then again we might be a little biased. Laney has just been so super giggley lately, and pulls all these cheesy, funny faces. They totally remind me of her cousin Brendan's cute cheesey smile that he pulls for the camera.
