Of course Laney was being a little shy on her birthday, so it was hard to get a good picture of her. She had a great birthday! Her Grandma nana was here to help her celebrate, the Disney store gave her a birthday crown, she got an even more awesome crown from her preschool, and she had a fun Hello Kitty birthday party!
Laney turning 5 has been so surreal for me. It's made me more patient with Eli at this difficult 4th trimester stage, since I know that it will come to an end all too soon.
While laney was being shy for pictures, Cali had no problem making goofy faces for the camera.
We decided to keep Laney's party simple since Eli was only 6 weeks old, and it was perfect. We invited a few of her favorite girl friends and neither of us felt overwhelmed. We did all of her favorite things.
