For the 4th of July Weekend we went camping at Big Sur, California. We tried to go last year, but all the spots were booked. So this year we reserved a spot back in February, and even then the pickings were slim. Now we know why. It was GORGEOUS!!! And our camp site was right next to a stream.
Tons of beautiful historic bridges build in the 30's
Tried out a little off-roading for some scenic sights
Relaxing in the river. Didn't know this would be here, or I would have totally brought some tube's to float down on.
However, the girls had ample fun climbing up and around on these chairs.
Cali got so hungry, she ate an ENTIRE apple, core and all.
Who doesn't love a hike ending with a view of a waterfall...and the ocean!
This is still my favorite view though.
Stopped by Carmel Beach on the way home
Cali was more than happy to help bury Laney in the sand...
Until she saw that we were turning her into a mermaid!! Then she had to join of course!
