Things are getting festive here. There is a giant lit Christmas tree in front of the Duomo and there are Christmas lights everywhere. Granted it's nothing like Temple Square, but it's still fun to see the lights, window displays and Christmas street markets. We met up with our friends Kade and Brittany and hit the town.

The little temporary light blue building shaped like presents under the big tree is a seasonal Tiffany & Co. boutique. There was a huge line just to go in to buy (or see, in our case :) the jewelry
A great and relatively inexpensive pizzaria really close to the Duomo. All you have to do to get a table in a super crowded, super fun restaurant like this without waiting hours for a table is to go at 7:00 or so, right when they open for dinner. It's a perfect time for us, but Italians wouldn't even think of eating so early (dinner around here officially starts around 8:30 or so). Tess got a calzone that somehow bubbled up really big in the oven. I what is becoming my favorite pizza: ham (the cooked kind, not "prosciutto crudo" which is dry-cured, uncooked, and gross) and mozzarella. If you look closely you can see Cali in the mirror pulling a face at her food...

Some really fun blue lights in the inside of the dome in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle II. No idea what the red and white cross symbolizes, but anyway, it's pretty.
