It was a long 5.5 hour drive to Disneyland for two little girls, and an even longer drive home for the two tired parents. So instead of driving back up the boring, brown, sceneless 5, we headed over to the 101/1(pacific coast highway). We stopped off at a beach side hotel and spent the night so we could all get our vacation from our vacation. 
Our little monkey got a little stuck
We couldn't believe how beautiful the drive was along the 101, which intersects with the pacific coast highway at times. I don't think it's usually this green, but boy did we pick the perfect time of year to "cruise along the 101" (name that song)
