We're all home and settling into the life of a family of 4. It's been a little rough, but we're finally starting to iron out the creases (even if it isn't the laundry). Cali is such a little sleepy head!! She sleeps for about 5 hour stretches at night, which means we only get up once, maybe twice a night. I don't know how long she'd sleep during the day, I have to wake her up to eat. Now that may sound super nice, but it's actually been kind of detrimental to her health. She started getting slightly Jaundice after we brought her home, and it's tough to get her to eat when she's so sleepy. Her billirubin levels got so high it actually made her MORE sleepy, so sleepy that she just wouldn't nurse. But with a lot of persistence, some nice weather for sunbathing (we're talking 70 degrees!), and a little supplementation, we were able to avoid checking her back into the hospital. Now she's finally starting to wake up more and show us a little of her personality, although she still looks like a pumpkin!! (It's from all that pumpkin pie I ate over the holidays right?)
So far Cali is such a calm and willing to just chill little sweetie. She likes being swaddled to sleep and once she's out, will sleep through just about anything, including Laney's kisses and tantrums. Laney has been surprisingly good for such a huge change. She loves the baby and asks for her every morning. She has been a little mad at me and won't have anything to do with me =( I miss my baby!! Luckily my mom was here to give her all the attention she needed and it's been so nice to see them bond.
Here are the last prego pictures of me!! It's sooo nice to be able to move around again, sleep on my stomach, and hold Laney in my lap!!
The trip home from the hospital

Welcome home lil' sis!!!

Our little Pumpkin Pie!!! (depending on the color of your monitor, you may even see the yellow hue to the whites of her eyes)

Laney has turned into such a little mommy!! She loves holding "her baby", and when she cries, she helps to "shhh" her and pats her on the belly.

Special Daddy time. This is the all too familiar sleeping position that Laney used to live in.
